Job Description
Join the Target team as a Part-Time Retail Stock Associate in our Arlington, Virginia store. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to help maintain our store’s inventory and ensure products are readily available for our guests. This role is crucial for creating an efficient and appealing shopping environment. As a Stock Associate, you will play a vital role in the operational success of our store, ensuring our shelves are stocked, organized, and ready for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Organize and store products in the backroom, ensuring proper labeling and inventory management.
- Replenish sales floor merchandise from the backroom, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and executing planograms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and sales floor environment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers safely and responsibly (training provided).
- Support inventory counts and assist with identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for a part-time schedule.

- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
