Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Part-Time Evening Office Cleaner to join our facilities team in Hamilton. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our office spaces, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment for our staff and guests. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to tasks, and the ability to work independently during evening hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of all office areas, common spaces, and hallways.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms, ensuring all supplies are replenished.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
• Polish furniture and fixtures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies are low.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, preferably in an office or commercial setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
