Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large and complex datasets.

• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve specific business problems.
• Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams on various projects.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of appropriate data science tools and methodologies.
• Document methodologies, processes, and results clearly and comprehensively.

Required Skills

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R).
• Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Basic understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Exposure to cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Previous internship experience or participation in data science projects/competitions.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
