Job Description

Join the Amazon Operations team as an Operations Team Member and become an essential part of our dynamic fulfillment network. This entry-level position involves a variety of tasks related to warehousing, material handling, and production, supporting the efficient flow of products from our fulfillment centers to customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. We are looking for reliable individuals who are eager to learn, committed to safety, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stow products in designated locations using handheld scanners and other equipment.
• Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers, safely moving materials within the warehouse.
• Sort and prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Operate various equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided), in a safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet Amazon's standards.
• Adapt to changing work priorities and tasks as needed to support operations.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures, loud noise, and fast-paced machinery.
• Willingness to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic computer navigation skills (for training and internal systems).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment (not required, but a plus).
• Experience using an RF scanner or other warehouse technology.
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
