Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Research Analyst to join our team in Fresno, CA. The successful candidate will apply quantitative methods to solve complex operational problems, optimize processes, and drive strategic decision-making across our vast network. This role involves developing, validating, and implementing mathematical models, simulation tools, and optimization algorithms to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced mathematical models, including optimization, simulation, and statistical analysis, to solve complex business problems.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate the impact of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business leaders, to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, influencing business strategy.
- Continuously research and incorporate new operations research techniques and technologies.

Required Skills
- Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in operations research, data science, or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Strong experience with optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX, GLPK) and statistical software.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex mathematical models and algorithms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Operations Research or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Prior experience in e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain optimization.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in operations research.
