Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Online Freelance Caption Checker to join our global network of linguistic experts. In this 100% remote, contract role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy, synchronization, and adherence to specific guidelines of existing captions for various types of media content, including film, television, and digital platforms. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless and accessible experience for diverse audiences worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review pre-existing captions for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation inaccuracies.
- Verify the precise synchronization of captions with on-screen audio and video content.
- Ensure captions accurately reflect spoken dialogue, sound effects, and musical cues as per project guidelines.
