Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Nanny for a wonderful family located in Apache Junction, AZ. This is an incredible opportunity to become an integral part of a family’s support system, providing comprehensive childcare for their two children, aged 3 and 6 years old. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, energetic, and responsible individual with a genuine love for children and a proactive approach to their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, fostering their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including educational games, creative play, outdoor adventures, and reading.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children.
• Assist with homework and school projects for the older child.
• Maintain children's schedules, including nap times, meal times, and activities.
• Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
• Perform light household duties related to children, such as tidying play areas, children's laundry, and organizing toys.
• Transport children to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities (reliable vehicle and clean driving record required).
• Communicate regularly and openly with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of professional nanny or childcare experience with verifiable references.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to plan and execute engaging activities for children.
• A genuine passion for working with children.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience with child development stages.
• Specialized training in child psychology or related areas.
• Experience with positive discipline techniques.
• Non-smoker.
