Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Metal Fabricator to join our advanced manufacturing team in St. Louis, Missouri. This critical role involves the precise cutting, shaping, welding, and assembly of metal components used in our state-of-the-art aerospace and defense products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various fabrication techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Read and accurately interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
• Cut, shape, and form metal materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, titanium) using various tools such as shears, saws, grinders, and presses.
• Perform various welding processes including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to assemble components according to specifications.
• Operate and maintain a range of fabrication machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet precise dimensional and structural specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other production personnel to troubleshoot issues and optimize fabrication processes.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Expertise in multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and associated equipment.
• Skilled in operating various metal fabrication machinery, including shears, brakes, and presses.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Physical stamina and dexterity required for manual tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational training or certification in welding, fabrication, or a related field.
• Prior experience in the aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing industries.
