Job Description

Sasol offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Sandton. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with the design, analysis, and optimisation of mechanical systems and components.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring activities.

• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment and machinery.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong academic record.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Previous internship or project experience in a related industrial setting.
