Job Description

Nestlé USA is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Manufacturing General Laborer to join our production team in Glendale, CA. In this role, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing process, assisting with various tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and are eager to contribute to the production of high-quality food products. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor basic production machinery and equipment under supervision.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, products, and supplies.
• Perform routine quality checks on products and packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support inventory management by accurately counting and documenting materials.
• Assist skilled operators and technicians with various manufacturing tasks as needed.
• Move finished products to storage or shipping areas.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and quality.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Experience with basic machinery operation.
• Forklift certification or experience.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
