Job Description

Morrisons is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Management and Program Analyst to join our dynamic team in Bradford. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in supporting various programs and projects across our integrated food business. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights that drive decision-making, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of program performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and define project scopes.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic programs and initiatives.
  • Identify process improvements and propose solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Support financial forecasting, budget analysis, and resource allocation for programs.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all analytical activities.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive alignment and progress on projects.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices in program management and analysis.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a data analysis, business analysis, or program analyst role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in the retail or FMCG industry.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., Prince2, PMP).
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python for data analysis).
  • Experience with ERP systems and large datasets.
