Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Munich, Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for an English-speaking professional to contribute to the efficient flow of goods and information within our complex global supply chain network. You will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any potential issues or delays.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, sales) and external partners (e.g., carriers, suppliers) to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage documentation, including shipping manifests, customs forms, and other compliance-related paperwork.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance, cost efficiency, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support the implementation of new logistics technologies and processes.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, company policies, and quality standards.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential, as no German language skills are required for this role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software or ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with international shipping and customs procedures.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles or other process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
