Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team in Hamburg. This is an exciting opportunity for an English-speaking professional to contribute to our global operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery, and managing logistics operations for a diverse portfolio of clients. While the position is based in Germany, there is no requirement to speak German for this specific role, as all primary communication and documentation will be conducted in English. You will work closely with international teams and clients, leveraging your expertise to enhance efficiency and uphold our high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams regarding shipment statuses and potential issues.
- Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international and national logistics regulations and company policies.
- Resolve logistical challenges and discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet client expectations and deliver exceptional service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal) is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
