Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently from trucks and containers.
• Sort and scan packages accurately using handheld devices and internal systems.
• Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts, after receiving proper training and certification.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and operational policies to ensure a secure working environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and timely processing of shipments.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, damaged packages, or operational issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare packages for shipment, including proper labeling, wrapping, and documentation.
• Assist with inventory counts and quality checks as needed.

Required Skills

• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Basic literacy and numerical skills to read labels, sort packages, and follow instructions.
• Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for operational continuity.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, physical labor, or freight handling role.
• Familiarity with scanning technology, inventory management systems, or material handling equipment.
• Valid driver's license (if operating company vehicles or moving equipment outside the facility is a potential future responsibility).
