Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Management Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any delays or issues.
- Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless logistics processes.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, customs procedures, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, reports, and records.
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts with logistics providers and vendors.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of logistics strategies and best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
