Job Description

Amazon Logistics is seeking dedicated and customer-focused Last Mile Delivery Associates to join our team in Hamburg. As a Delivery Associate, you will be the face of Amazon, safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers in your assigned routes. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers.
- Navigate routes using a hand-held device, ensuring timely deliveries within designated areas.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing inquiries or issues as they arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Complete all deliveries on your assigned route within the scheduled timeframe.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid German Class B driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Capable of entering and exiting a vehicle multiple times throughout the day.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Punctual and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role.
- Familiarity with local Hamburg streets and neighborhoods.
- Proficiency in German language.
- Experience with navigation and handheld delivery devices.
