Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team. The Kitchen Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of our kitchen, dishwashing area, and food storage facilities. This position is vital to supporting our chefs and ensuring a smooth, hygienic operation that meets all health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring all dishes, glassware, and cutlery are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
 - Clean and organize all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, cooking surfaces, and food preparation stations.
 - Assist with the proper storage and rotation of food items and supplies.
 - Manage waste disposal, including trash and recycling, adhering to established procedures.
 - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, and refrigerators.
 - Support the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
 - Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and standards.
 - Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
