Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Porters to join our vibrant team for evening shifts at our Manchester Arndale restaurant. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential part of our kitchen operation, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and smooth workflow. This role is crucial for supporting our chefs and delivering the high standards of hygiene and efficiency that Nando’s is known for. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided for candidates with a great attitude and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, both manually and using dishwashing equipment.
• Ensuring all kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, and equipment, are kept clean and tidy.
• Assisting with the unloading and storage of deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Disposing of waste and recycling materials correctly and efficiently.
• Supporting the kitchen team by ensuring they have clean equipment and crockery available.
• Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen management.
