Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and work surfaces are sanitized and kept in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation and inventory management.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials correctly and efficiently.
- Support the culinary team during service hours, helping to plate dishes and ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations diligently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or kitchen management.
