Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic gamer with a knack for connecting with people and building vibrant online communities? InnoGames is seeking a Junior Community Manager to join our growing team. This entry-level, remote position offers an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the gaming industry, working with beloved titles and a passionate player base. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and engaging environment for our players, acting as a bridge between the development team and the community. This role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for the player community across various platforms (forums, social media, Discord).
- Monitor and moderate community discussions to ensure a positive and respectful environment.
- Collect and synthesize player feedback, reporting key insights and trends to the development team.
- Assist in creating engaging content (news, announcements, events) for the community.
- Support the planning and execution of community events, contests, and campaigns.
- Help resolve player issues and queries, escalating complex problems to relevant teams.
- Stay up-to-date with game developments, community sentiment, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align community strategies.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for video games and understanding of online gaming communities.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms (Discord, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy towards player concerns.
- Basic understanding of community moderation principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with InnoGames titles (e.g., Forge of Empires, Tribal Wars).
- Fluency in an additional language (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
- Prior experience in a community management or customer support role (even volunteer).
- Basic knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., image editing, basic video editing).
- Experience using community management tools or platforms.
