Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Java Developer to join our innovative team in Vancouver. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable Java-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Contribute to architectural design decisions and system improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance of applications.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java 8+ and its ecosystem (Spring Framework, Hibernate, Maven/Gradle).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
