Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and diligent individuals to join our facilities management team as a Janitor / Cleaner. This is an entry-level position and ideal for candidates with no prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services. We value a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across our prestigious properties on Al Maryah Island. Visa sponsorship will be provided for eligible candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, and public spaces.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in basic English.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights, and stand for extended periods.
