Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as an IT Support Apprentice. This apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced telecommunications environment, learning directly from experienced IT professionals. You will contribute to maintaining our critical IT infrastructure and support our internal users, playing a vital role in our daily operations. This is a full-time, on-site position designed to kickstart your career in information technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Support network operations, including monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining network devices.
- Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Document IT procedures, solutions, and inventory.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on various projects and initiatives.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT personnel.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of an IT-related vocational program or certification.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience in a customer service role.
