Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic technology team in Las Vegas. This role is crucial for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects across our extensive portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical landscapes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Define project objectives, create detailed project plans, and manage project resources, including internal teams and external vendors.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and present updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business objectives.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams.
- Solid technical acumen with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
