Job Description
Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst to join our innovative team in Tucson, Arizona. This critical role involves bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, working closely with various stakeholders to analyze requirements, define system specifications, and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. We are looking for an analytical professional with a strong understanding of IT systems and business processes, eager to contribute to high-impact defense and aerospace projects. Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into detailed functional and non-functional specifications for IT systems.
- Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business objectives and quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and risk analysis for proposed technical solutions.
- Create process models, use cases, user stories, and other documentation to support the software development lifecycle.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, interviews, and meetings with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training and support to end-users as needed.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the business analysis practice.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation techniques.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- CBAP or CCBA certification.
- Experience in the defense, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience with data modeling and database concepts.
