Job Description

Accenture is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in New Orleans, Louisiana. The successful candidate will be a critical link between our information technology capacity and business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing, and deployment tasks of our software products and features. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, define project requirements, and drive effective technology solutions that deliver significant business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to elicit comprehensive requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain process flows, use cases, wireframes, and other analytical artifacts.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Support the testing phase, including test case review, defect management, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Assist in change management activities, user training, and post-implementation support.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and organizational policies.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and other requirements management platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Eligibility for visa sponsorship in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Agile SCRUM Master, or PMP.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, SCM) implementations.
• Familiarity with data modeling, SQL, and business intelligence tools.
• Experience in the consulting industry.
