Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banker to join our dynamic Capital Markets team in Jacksonville, FL. This pivotal role involves originating, structuring, and executing a broad range of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and strategic advisory services for corporate clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen, proven transaction experience, and exceptional client relationship management skills. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the origination and execution of M&A, debt, and equity transactions.
• Develop detailed financial models, valuations, and presentations for client pitches and transaction execution.
• Conduct extensive industry research and analysis to identify potential clients and market opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity firms, and other financial sponsors.
• Prepare comprehensive offering memoranda, pitch books, and other marketing materials.
• Manage due diligence processes, collaborating with legal, accounting, and other advisors.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape in the financial services industry.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Demonstrated experience in deal execution, financial modeling, valuation, and M&A processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects concurrently.
• FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Prior experience working with international clients or on cross-border transactions.
• Established network within a specific industry sector (e.g., technology, healthcare, industrials).
• Fluency in additional languages.
