Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and talented undergraduate students for our Investment Analyst Summer Internship program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, working within one of BlackRock’s diverse investment teams. Interns will contribute to real projects, learn from industry experts, and develop a comprehensive understanding of global financial markets and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist portfolio managers and research analysts with data collection and analysis
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on market trends, industries, and specific securities
  • Prepare financial models and presentations to support investment decisions
  • Monitor portfolio performance and contribute to client reporting
  • Participate in team meetings and present research findings
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by senior team members
  • Learn and apply BlackRock's proprietary investment tools and platforms

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investment management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with financial modeling or data analysis tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, Python, R)
  • Prior internship experience in financial services
  • Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 3.5)
  • Knowledge of different asset classes and investment strategies
