Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and culturally appropriate simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services for internal meetings, conferences, training sessions, and customer interactions.
• Translate written documents, presentations, and communications as needed, maintaining linguistic accuracy and subject matter integrity.
• Act as a cultural liaison, bridging communication gaps and promoting understanding between individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and impartiality in all interpretation and translation tasks.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand specific terminology and contextual nuances relevant to aviation, customer service, and corporate operations.
• Utilize interpretation equipment and software effectively where required.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a glossary of industry-specific terms to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Required Skills

• Native or near-native fluency in English and at least two other languages (please specify proficiency levels in application).
• Proven experience in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation.
• Exceptional listening, comprehension, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and ability to adapt communication style accordingly.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical conduct.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Professional interpretation certification (e.g., ATA, UN accreditation).
• Experience in the aviation, travel, or a large corporate environment.
• Proficiency in additional languages beyond the minimum requirement.
• Familiarity with interpretation software and tools.
