Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused International Travel Advisor to join our team in Hamburg. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about travel and dedicated to providing outstanding service to our diverse English-speaking clientele. As an International Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs, recommending suitable travel packages, and ensuring a seamless booking experience from inquiry to post-travel follow-up. You will work with a wide range of global destinations and products, helping our customers plan their perfect getaways.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with English-speaking clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and specific requirements.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, travel products, insurance, and visa requirements.
• Research, plan, and book customized travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and excursions.
• Manage bookings, process payments, and handle amendments or cancellations efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Resolve any pre-travel or in-travel issues promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new destinations, and TUI's product offerings.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.

Required Skills

• Fluent spoken and written English (native or near-native proficiency is essential).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or similar customer-facing role within the travel industry.
• Proven sales and customer service skills with a strong client focus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
• Solid knowledge of international destinations, travel regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch) is a plus.
• Experience with CRM software and online booking platforms.
• Personal travel experience to a wide range of international destinations.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a travel environment.
