Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food and grocery orders to customers' doorsteps across various locations in Dubai.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring the security of goods and personal safety.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, providing correct change and processing transactions.
- Utilize navigation apps effectively to determine the best routes and meet delivery timeframes.
- Report any issues or delays promptly to the dispatch team.
- Ensure the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned delivery vehicle or motorbike.
- Represent Talabat's brand positively during all interactions.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (motorcycle or car) relevant to UAE regulations, or willingness to obtain one upon arrival.
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai's roads and traffic rules, or strong ability to learn quickly with navigation tools.
- Proven experience in a delivery or logistics role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying packages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with a major food delivery or logistics company.
- Familiarity with using smartphone applications for delivery and navigation.
- Multilingual abilities, especially English and Arabic.
- A clean driving record with no major violations.
