Job Description
Are you passionate about social media and love engaging with online communities? ASOS is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Work From Home Instagram Engagement Assistant to join our dynamic social media team. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from your home office. You will be instrumental in fostering a vibrant and interactive community on our Instagram platform, helping to bring the ASOS brand to life through authentic conversations and timely interactions. You will be the voice of ASOS, directly engaging with our followers, responding to comments and direct messages, and identifying trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor ASOS's Instagram feed, stories, and DMs for comments, questions, and mentions.
- Engage actively with followers by liking, commenting, and responding to direct messages in line with brand guidelines.
- Identify and escalate critical or sensitive customer service issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Help identify trending topics, user-generated content, and potential brand advocates.
- Contribute to weekly reports on Instagram engagement metrics and community sentiment.
- Assist in brainstorming creative ideas for Instagram content and engagement campaigns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Instagram features, trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the wider social media and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of English grammar and tone.
- Proven passion for social media, particularly Instagram, and understanding of its culture.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with various social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) is a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
