Job Description
Salesforce is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Information Technology Intern to join our dynamic team in Oakland, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day IT support operations, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues for internal users.

- Support network administration tasks, including monitoring network performance and assisting with basic network configurations.
- Help manage user accounts and access permissions across various systems and applications.
- Contribute to IT documentation, creating and updating guides for common procedures and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on special projects related to system upgrades, security enhancements, or new technology implementations.
- Learn and apply best practices in IT security and data management.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common office productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization concepts.
