Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team at Hyatt Regency Denver. This is an immediate start position, perfect for individuals looking to begin their career in hospitality, as no prior experience is required. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of our kitchen operations, supporting our chefs and ensuring a smooth service.

Key Responsibilities

• Washing and cleaning all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and cutlery using dishwashing machines and by hand.
• Ensuring all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas, are kept clean and hygienic at all times.
• Assisting with the unloading and proper storage of deliveries.
• Removing kitchen waste and ensuring proper disposal and recycling procedures are followed.
• Supporting the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks as required (e.g., peeling vegetables).
• Maintaining a clean and organized pot wash area.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assisting with other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
