Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with HVAC system installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in heating and cooling systems.
• Handle and transport tools and materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities.
• Document work performed and materials used accurately.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions (attics, crawl spaces, rooftops).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and a strong desire to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a vocational or technical program in HVAC or a related field.
• Previous experience in manual labor or a trade-related role.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety.
• EPA certification (Type I or Universal) is a plus but not required to start.
