Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team in Waco, TX. The HR Advisor will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and leadership by providing expert advice and guidance on a wide range of HR matters. This position involves collaborating with various departments to implement HR policies, manage employee relations, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment within our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Support the implementation and interpretation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
  • Assist with talent management processes, including performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Conduct HR-related training sessions for employees and managers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other HR functions (e.g., compensation, benefits, talent acquisition) to deliver comprehensive HR services.
  • Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
