Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Houseman to join our team at Premier Inn Bedford Town Centre. The Houseman plays a crucial role in ensuring the hotel’s cleanliness, functionality, and guest satisfaction by supporting the housekeeping department and maintaining public areas. Key Responsibilities

• Assist housekeeping staff with the collection and distribution of linen, towels, and supplies.
• Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and stairwells to high standards.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal according to hotel standards.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Support guest requests such as delivering amenities, luggage assistance, or providing directions.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report stock levels.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or event spaces as required.
