Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency within the housekeeping department. This position involves supervising a team of room attendants and house persons, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Hilton’s brand standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and motivate a team of room attendants and house persons.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for cleanliness and adherence to brand standards.
  • Assist with scheduling, assigning work, and managing daily operations of the housekeeping department.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, linen, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing training and development initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or certification in Hospitality Management.
  • Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS).
  • Multilingual abilities.
