Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeper to join our team at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all our guests. This role is crucial to our guests’ experience, and we are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures.
 - Change bed linen and make beds, replace used towels and amenities.
 - Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust and polish furniture, and clean bathroom fixtures.
 - Replenish guest room supplies and ensure all items are in working order.
 - Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items promptly.
 - Handle guest requests and complaints efficiently and courteously.
 - Maintain a neat and organized trolley and storage areas.
 - Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
 
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably in a hotel environment.
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 - Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness.
 - Good physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Reliable and punctual.
