Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Valet / Parking Attendant to join our dynamic team in Bakersfield, CA. As a crucial first point of contact, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and lasting impression on our guests. You will be responsible for safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and providing outstanding customer service with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage and directions.
- Safely and efficiently park guest vehicles in designated areas.
- Retrieve guest vehicles promptly upon request, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
- Maintain an organized and tidy valet parking area.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage from their vehicles.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and hotel safety regulations.
- Report any vehicle damage or guest concerns to management immediately.
- Handle car keys securely and maintain an accurate key log.
- Collaborate with front desk and concierge teams to ensure seamless guest service.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 6 months of professional driving experience.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and run for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a valet, parking attendant, or hospitality role.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle models and parking procedures.
