Job Description
Join the culinary team at a prestigious Marriott hotel in Buffalo as a Kitchen Porter / Dishwasher. This crucial role supports our kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and assisting with various kitchen tasks to ensure a smooth workflow and a pristine working environment for our culinary staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all kitchenware, dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Operate dishwashing machines efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and work surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated areas.
- Assist with the unloading and storage of food and supply deliveries.
- Support chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks when required.
