Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Hotel Housekeeper to join our team in Miami, FL. This hybrid role involves on-site presence to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and common areas, ensuring our high standards of hospitality are met. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
- Change linens and make beds.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust furniture and fixtures.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items promptly.
- Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor with guests and fellow associates.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience with Marriott International or other major hotel brands.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
