Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Hotel Housekeeper to join our team in Jersey City. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment during their stay. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will contribute directly to the overall guest experience and the reputation of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and common areas according to established standards and procedures.
- Change linen, make beds, and replenish guest room supplies (e.g., toiletries, towels, coffee).
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and clean bathrooms thoroughly.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items found in rooms or public spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of carts and equipment.
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel policy.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
