Job Description

Join the legendary team at The Fairmont Banff Springs, ‘The Castle in the Rockies,’ as an Entry-Level Hotel Front Desk Clerk. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality to start their career in a world-renowned luxury resort. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional service from check-in to check-out. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring our guests have an unforgettable stay. This full-time, on-site position offers a chance to grow within a prestigious international hotel brand and develop invaluable skills in customer service and hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and courteously.
  • Process payments, handle cash, and manage guest accounts accurately.
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to all hotel standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Housekeeping and Bell Services, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Handle reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations with attention to detail.
  • Assist guests with luggage storage, taxi arrangements, and other concierge-like services as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety and security procedures of the hotel.
