Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Hotel Front Desk Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in hospitality, as comprehensive training will be provided. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and efficient service from check-in to check-out. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Process payments, manage cash drawer, and reconcile daily transactions accurately.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
  • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (retail, food service, etc.).
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus, but not required (training provided).
  • Multilingual abilities.
