Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Bellman to join our dynamic team at Hilton Sharjah. The Bellman plays a crucial role in providing guests with a warm welcome and efficient assistance throughout their stay. This position involves handling luggage, providing information, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, strong physical stamina, and a commitment to exceptional guest service in a luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, loading, and unloading from vehicles.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist with package and mail delivery to guest rooms and other hotel areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby and luggage storage area.
  • Coordinate with front desk and concierge teams to fulfill guest requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide directions and transportation assistance as needed.
  • Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures and policies.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with professionalism and discretion.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong physical condition, capable of lifting and carrying luggage up to 25 kg.
  • A friendly, polite, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to guest service.
  • Valid driver's license (optional, but preferred for some duties).

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of Sharjah and surrounding areas.
  • Fluency in Arabic or other international languages.
