Job Description
Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Bellman to join our prestigious team in Business Bay, Dubai. As a Bellman, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and efficient assistance with their luggage and transportation needs. This role is crucial in ensuring an exceptional arrival and departure experience, reflecting the high standards of luxury and service synonymous with the Jumeirah brand. This exciting opportunity includes visa sponsorship and accommodation as part of the compensation package.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling.
- Escort guests to their rooms, explaining hotel facilities and features.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of luggage from vehicles.
- Arrange for guest transportation, including taxis, limousines, and valet services.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Deliver messages, newspapers, and other items to guest rooms promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby and bell desk area.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Support other front office operations as required.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
- A professional and well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of Dubai's major landmarks and attractions.
- A proactive and helpful attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bellman or in a similar guest service role within a luxury hotel setting.
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Russian, Mandarin).
- Valid UAE driving license (advantageous for valet support).
