Job Description
Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Bellman to join our prestigious team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting guests with luggage, providing information, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage and belongings.
- Efficiently transport luggage to guest rooms and assist with unpacking upon request.
- Provide guests with accurate information regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including taxis, valet parking, and airport transfers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel lobby and entrance areas.
- Deliver newspapers, mail, and packages to guest rooms as required.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously, escalating when necessary.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
- Collaborate with front desk, concierge, and valet teams to ensure efficient guest services.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
- A proactive and helpful attitude with a strong guest-focused approach.
- Immaculate grooming and professional presentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Bellman or Porter.
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Russian, Mandarin).
- Knowledge of Dubai's local attractions and transportation options.
