Job Description

As a Barback / Glass Collector, you will be the backbone of our beverage service, ensuring our bars are always fully stocked, clean, and ready to impress our guests, especially during our exciting outdoor functions and high-volume periods. This role is perfect for an energetic and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, including outdoor event spaces.
• Collect and clean glassware efficiently, ensuring a continuous supply for bartenders.
• Restock spirits, beers, wines, ice, and other bar essentials from storage.
• Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes and basic mixes as needed.
• Ensure all refrigeration units are adequately stocked and organized.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling for bar operations.
• Support event setup and breakdown, particularly for outdoor bar installations.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Provide support to the bar team to ensure smooth service during peak times.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or stock discrepancies to management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barback, Glass Collector, or in a similar hospitality role.
• Familiarity with hotel operating procedures.
• Basic understanding of different types of alcoholic beverages.
• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 1.
