Job Description
Jumeirah Group is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring hospitality professionals to join our team as a Hospitality Trainee in the vibrant Dubai Marina. This comprehensive training program is designed to provide hands-on experience across various facets of luxury hotel operations, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Guest Relations. Key Responsibilities
- Rotate through key departments such as Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping to gain a holistic understanding of hotel operations.
- Assist in daily departmental tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery in alignment with Jumeirah's luxury standards.
- Learn and strictly adhere to Jumeirah's high standards of luxury service, guest satisfaction, and operational protocols.
- Proactively engage with guests, addressing inquiries, resolving minor issues, and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support team members in various operational duties, including check-ins, check-outs, restaurant service, and room preparation.
- Actively participate in all assigned training sessions, workshops, and development programs designed to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a pristine, welcoming, and safe environment for all guests and colleagues within the hotel premises.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by demonstrating enthusiasm, respect, proactive communication, and a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a strong commitment to guest service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as per operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (even internships or part-time roles) in a customer service, hotel, or tourism-related position.
- Fluency in an additional language (e.g., Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, German) is highly advantageous.
- Relevant vocational training, certificate, diploma, or a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Familiarity with hotel operating systems (e.g., Opera PMS, Micros POS) is a plus.
